YIASOU CAR RENTALS COMPANY’S POLICY

Terms & Conditions

All car rentals are subject to the full terms and conditions printed on the rental agreement.

All car rates include:

3rd party Insurance, Collision Damage Waiver with an excess, Unlimited kilometre, Free delivery and collection in the town of LARNACA, Maintenance oil and greasing, V.A.T, Local taxes.

All car rates exclude:

Fuel, Super Collision Damage Waiver, Personal Accident Insurance for drivers, Airport charges, One way fees, Young drivers surcharge, Optional extras.

Driver Requirements

Drivers must be over 23 years of age with a full valid driving license for a minimum of 3 years driving experience at the time of rental.

Special Requests

Child seats, Boost seats, Navigation systems and other additional items are available on request.

Cars

The images of the cars on display in groups are examples only. The right is reserved to substitute alternative cars or similar or upgraded type (at no extra cost).

Flight information

It is essential for airport pickups that the correct flight number and arrival time be advised before the customer departs. In the event that this information is not available at the time of booking please be sure to advise YIASOU CAR RENTALS at least 2 days prior to departure. Although YIASOU CAR RENTALS will always do its utmost to ensure a car is available for the customer on arrival, no responsibility will be accepted or compensation offered for a failed rental due to the customer providing information late.

Accidents

All accidents must be reported immediately from the scene of the accident by telephone.

You are obligated to remain on scene of accident until a company representative reach you.

The Northern Side (occupied side)

Our cars can be taken to the North but hirers are not covered by our insurance, separate 3rd party insurance is obtained at the border and it is the hirers responsibility to return the car to the Republic of Cyprus legal borders in the event of an accident or breakdown. Credit card details are taken as security.

Fuel

The car’s fuel tank can be delivered as a request, but always has to be returned empty OR as it was on pick up. Fuelling the car is your responsibility.

No refund is made for fuel remaining in the car’s tank.

Payment

Payment is made on delivery of the car either by cash credit or debit card, no deposit is taken UNLESS conditions demand so.

Credit Cards

All major credit cards are accepted. A valid credit card must be presented irrespective of payment method.

Minimum charge two days rental cost.

Insurance and waivers

Rental Rates includes V.A.T (Valued Added Tax) as well as 3rd party insurance and Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) which reduces renter’s liability in case of accident to the excess amount indicated in the table below.

In order to waive the excess amount the clients over 23 years old age can purchase SCDW (Super Collision Damage Waiver) which reduces the liability to zero (0) or minimum deposit in case it’s requested. Tyres, windshield, undercarriage damage, roof damage, oil sump and damages side mirrors are not covered by CDW or SCDW and to waive their cost in case of damage one must purchase ADW (Additional Damage Waiver) with costs as per the table below.

Theft Protection cover (TP) is NOT offered .

Interior damage (e.g. stains, cigarette burns,) or loss of car parts are not covered by any kind of insurance and the renter is liable for their cost. Any kind of damage caused by improper use of the vehicle, negligent driving and illegal activities or driving under intoxication is also not covered under any circumstances and the renter is liable for all damages.

In addition, Yiasou Travel & Rent a Car reserves the right to recall your contract(car rental) in case of notice of inappropriate drive, use or handle any of its property with the right of no return of money.
